Forge is supported by a network of partners who bring specialist expertise in complementary disciplines, including market research, government relations, community engagement and creative branding and design.
Scott Thomson, Partner
Scott’s career has spanned 25 years and three continents, advising some of the world’s most valuable brands.
Before co-founding Forge, Scott spent 18 years at Edelman, the world’s largest public relations network. He held leadership posts in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific, latterly as managing director in Australia and Corporate Practice leader for South Asia, India and Australia.
Scott has worked across a diverse client base, from international household brands to start-ups, hyper-local enterprises and not-for-profits. He has led programs for Microsoft, Unilever, Shell, Starbucks, Mitsubishi Corporation, Volkswagen, UPS, Diageo, KPMG, various government departments and many others.
His work has involved long-term reputation-building through corporate branding, storytelling and executive coaching, through to more discrete projects concerned with achieving specific commercial or reputational outcomes. He has also supported clients on some of the most significant crises of the past two decades, helping with planning, real-time crisis response, and post-incident reputation recovery.
Throughout his career, Scott has come to appreciate the awesome power of narratives. He is devoted to responsibly harnessing that power for the benefit of clients and society.
